wake up!

being ground up can be a blessing too...

Have been anticipating this moment all week, and an hour before this, I had a potentially nightmarish dream that converted into a seamlessly smooth story. I woke up feeling a bit lighter, and a bit more enlightened…

So, I head to grind my morning coffee (I do this every day on autopilot) and i’m thinking about the act of crushing something till it bursts open.

This vintage Peugeot grinder sorta grabs it for me.

A crank wheel, turning, spinning, gears mounting up energy from your arms into this poor bean, and then boom, a wonder stimulant, expanded surface area now ready for hot water, to become your burst of morning energy.

It can be that simple.

Trust flashes of insight, the ways you want to expand the work; increase its surface area through a bit of friendly destruction to give it new life.
